1. When i start launcher i get "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)." error.
   Install this: .NET Framework 3.5.
2. When starting game from launcher i get "The system cannot find the file specified" error.
   This error means there is no file tetris.exe in same directory as launcher. This usually means you have extracted game incorrectly.
   If you still can't figure it out, you can try this installer: TOPSetup-en.exe .
3. When i run tetris.exe nothing happens.
   You need to start game with launcher (for example TOPLauncher.exe) and not directly with tetris.exe.
4. How to stop a website popup that shows when i close game?
   Options -> Load website on exit -> set to OFF
5. Why there are no DAS patch included?
   Because TOP comes with better presets and tunning is free you can just use in-game tuning feature to adjust your DAS speed.
   But if that is not enough for you, you can get premade patches here: DasPatch.zip. You may also try farter's launcher instead, it allows you to set DAS to whatever you want.
6. Few decoration packs are not available, why?
   There is technical reason for that. Actualy number of decoration items that you can own is lower than number of all items available, this is limited by the protocol. But i will do something about this eventually.
7. Sometimes i write something in the chat and it won't appear, is there bug?
   Yes, while game is in progress messages can not show sometimes, this client bug (inherited from TOJ). If you know how to fix it let me know.
8. Are there other known client bugs?
   Yes, there are few. Maybe i will make list of them one day.
9. Why replays do not work?
   You need to download updated version of game (get one here).
10. How to ged rid of sparkles?
    Apply this patch: killstars.zip.
11. I get error message "SoundMgr Init failed."
    This message will show if no sound card is installed in system, please check if your soundcard driver are installed and working correctly.

hey, thanks for all the work on TOJ btw. the links in number 5 in the FAQ appear to be broken; the first is a "doesn't exist page" and the second doesn't appear to have any active links to the farter launcher (i tried google translate to hunt it down with no luck) the presets in the existing launcher are close but i'd really like to customize my repeat settings. adjusting the existing config_jpn file's move delay and move delay interval manually doesnt seem to work for me either (not sure if i got the right movedelay or if i have to do more etc..) could i bug you for the files or how i would manually adjust my das beyond the in-game presets?

I created a preset with no line clear delay since I couldn't find this anywhere besides in the Wonderland mod.

The difference between this preset and the original are:
- no line clear delay
- fastest soft drop
- modified DAS/Repeat speed (see table)

DAS/Sensitivity

2       120ms        15ms
3       105ms        15ms
4        90ms        15ms
5        75ms        15ms

You will need to change the levels in the Tuning settings accordingly for Piece Preview, DAS/Sensitivity and Lock Delay.

To use this preset:
1. Place the zip file in the TOP directory. Right click > Extract here (with your zip program)
2. Launch TOPLauncher.exe
3. Click Settings
4. Select 'faster_presets'
5. Click Apply Patch

Attaching a no sparkles patch since the original link is dead.

For both the no line clear delay patch and the no sparkles patch, the zip files should be extracted from the base TOP directory (where tetris.exe and TOPLauncher.exe are) with the directory structure left intact.
