TOP Client Patch 20120416

If you are using old TOJ/TOP English/Japanese version, and experiencing problems below, this patch is for you.

Months went by and some changes took place. Here are things updated.

• tetrisonline.jp was registered by somebody and redirected to his own website. With old TOJ client, weird things may be shown when you log in and finish single player game. This patch fixes it.
• If you are using old TOJ client, replay of single player games won't work, you can neither watch or upload replays. Also, it's reported that mooo.com got blocked in some places , some players may be unable to log in. This patch changes them to tetrisonline.pl.
• With new launcher in this patch, you may choose some other server to play on, any adjust DAS value in millisecond. And it's multilingual for English, Chinese (S&T), Japanese, Martian ( ) speakers...
• Some more little things...

Download the zip pack of matching language,
and extract it to where TOP game FILES are located. (eg. "D:\games\Tetris_Online_Poland\" but not "D:\games\")
Some files will be overwritten. If no file is overwritten you'd better check the path you selected.

Thanks for this, I appreciate it =) However, I do have one question: what should the settings be to replicate the DAS and ARR or Tetris Friends? I know it's min/max das = 5 and das = 1 on nullpomino but I've got no clue what that translates to on your launcher

that will be 15ms repeat and 100ms delay.

Could the IHS(Initial hold system) be added into the next patch? I think it makes some convenience to reduce the hold lag. THX

I'm sorry for bumping this topic. But wouldn't it be good if the Patch would be on the Download page of TOP? Maybe even update the old TOJ Client with the new Patch now.
I think this could be very easily missed by most people when it's a bit hidden in the TOP General forum.

It just change launcher and not much more. I think farter wanted to fix some issues for Chinese users.

I think his changes are included in current Chinese version, and nobody else really need those changes. I think this topic needs to be deleted to avoid confusion.

not only launcher...
as written in the main post, it fixed all domain in tetris.exe (ads), lng.txt (login, replay)
and das, server choice, etc.

in a word it's a sum of patches from last toj to current top.

but yes, all are minor things, nothing big.

That's why I thought. It isn't just the launcher itself that has been changed.
Even if it's minor, I think it would still be a bit useful if this could be included in the latest TOP download. I think this little extra work shouldn't just disappear into nothingness and I really don't think that's a major thing to do: 1. ZIP, 2. Upload, 3. ???, 4. Profit!

i remember the newest downloads of complete client are all patched well (except my launcher (only in Chinese version)), for new players who are downloading the client here for the first time, this is just an extra launcher with a bit more feature.
this is most likely for toj client user, maybe they just have early version of Wojtek's launcher. re-downloading the whole pack is a bit waste of resource, so i made this.
