tetrisonline.co.jp domain has been renewed

The domain of tetrisonline.co.jp, TOJ's company information site, has been renewed and the time limit of the domain became 2013/01/31.
It seems TOJ still had the money to maintain their company's domain. Does this mean the company of TOJ still exists, or just Tetris Online, Inc. sent money to the domain register service?

I doubt TOJ company still exists in any way. however there is company hotarutech that says it inherited rights to TOJ non-tetris games and ported them to iOS: http://www.cocos2d-iphone.org/forum/topic/21750. actually tetrisonline.jp points to same ip that hotarutech has its websites on: http://www.ewhois.com/tetrisonline.jp/ . seems current website is: http://site.hotarutech.co.jp/us/ .

I wonder if tetrisonline.jp will be renewed. I was thinking about trying to get it if its not, but it's probably not worth it, considering prices of japanese domains.

any takers? i would love to have that domain, but it's too expensive for me. In polish company .jp domain cost 400zloty (about 130usd) per year. in some foreign companies it seems to cost about 60usd (that's better, but still very expensive for domain name). i wonder how much it cost in japan, any info?

sadly new owner of tetrisonline.jp displays content that will cause script errors in non-patched TOJ version.

It appears that all of TOJ domain ended its life.
