hangame networking encryption was quite challenging to me, but i got it finally. it's good start to make own server.

hello, little update.

I was not working on this since march, but now i want to work on it again. seems that protocol changed (new version) and this force me to reorganize work so i can easily detect if protocol was changed and where it was changed. This means i need to create some more tools, but it will make work easier. So i wanted to start working on awesome tool, some kind of reverse studio that would help me with many things i used to do manually, but for now i found program 010 editor that does part of things i need. there is also similiar program for mac: synalyse it!. so for now i will just use that and later probably start my own reverse studio with something similar and also make it compatible with 010 editor template format. so in short i want to automate many things i used to do manually, it will cost extra time, but will make things easier in long term.

i think hangame tetris is very interesting and well made tetris game, so it would be cool to bring it to people outside of korea, think how cool will be that. also with funds we colected i can afford to pay better hosting that will handle hangame server next to top server if there will be need for extra resources.

(Perhaps... later, much much later... much much much much later when you need to change some of the hangul script to english in the images that make up the interface in the future I miggghhht be able to help.)

yes, this is something i want to do and i will definitely need help with that. TOP would never be as great as it is if not virulent and others who helped me with english patch. And that involved editing few hundreds images or so. And for hangame there may be even more.

What happened?

Is it about the new version of Hangame Tetris?

I moved to other things, i don't want to give people false hopes.

It is still possible i will continue one day, just don't count on it.

Anyway what do you think about new version of hangame tetris? I don't like it as much as old one.
